I remember hearing Green Green for the first time and falling in love with the 12 string guitar.

They, of course, still do "Green Green" and Dolan Ellis still nails that 12 string. They do not quite recreate Barry McGuire's vocals...and I didn't expect them to Barry is one of a kind...but the tune is as great as ever

Allman's at The Beacon on St. Patty's Day. Incredible stuff, best ABB show Ive seen. Seen them 14-15 times now I think, starting in '93.

I could smell Zakir's sweat.
One of the best out of the 4 times I've seen him and his
groups.

I saw Friday nights and it was a great show, I plan on seeing Chris Robinson Brotherhood out in Pittsfield in June and DSO in June up at Hapmton Beach and that may be it this summer, so far no gov mule, Derek trucks, Allmans, furthur( the closest the are playing is McCoy stadium in providence, sadly who knows what becomes of the ramble now with the awfully sad passing of Mr. Levon Helm R.I.P and rest easy!

Saw Melvin Seals at a tiny club a few weeks ago. Very cool. Twenty Bucks. Worth every penny. The last "big show" I saw was The Dead at Shoreline...May of 09' Brought my son who was 12 st the time and people kept telling me that I was a good grandfather for taking him. Considering Furthur at Shoreline in Sept.

Richard Thompson & Loudon Wainwright, over a year ago.

Seeing Loudon again next month. He's about the only guy I ever see anymore. He's always funny, and almost always has brand-new material.

Burned out on Dylan, who I saw an awful lot between 97-03. Just kind of lost interest when he stopped playing guitar
